What We Do

Landmark Real Estate Management, LLC, locally owned by Troy Muljat, is a progressive company started in 1993, specializing in commercial and residential property management. As one of Whatcom and Skagit County’s largest property management companies, and with an unrivaled reputation for efficiency and expertise, Landmark is recognized as an industry leader, with over 3,000 residential units and approx. 800,000 sq feet of commercial space under management throughout Washington State. As a growing company, we are continuously working to acquire new properties to manage that both meet the needs of the community and offer enough to prospective tenants to fill the available space.


Landmark Real Estate Management is a member of each of the following professional organizations; The National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Whatcom Business Alliance (WBA), and Northwest Multiple Listings Services (NWMLS).

It all starts at the top. Owner Troy Muljat has over 30 years of experience in property management. He is passionate about what he does and our clients couldn’t be more pleased.

Our Leadership

Troy Muljat

Troy Muljat is currently a level two candidate for the MAI, and an associate member of the Appraisal Institute. He also achieved his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) membership through the National Association of Realtors. His specialties include appraisals, development and management of commercial office buildings, industrial buildings, retail development, hotels, all types of commercial land, income property and medium to large multi-family complexes. Additionally, Troy specializes in brokerage of new construction, both single-family subdivision development and multi-family brokerage and development.

Combine Troy’s experience and expertise with the dedicated staff at Landmark headed by Director of Operations Kimberly Huizenga, graduate from Western Washington University BA in Business Management and CPM designation with over 10 years of property management experience. Together, you have a team of specialists that could make the difference between a good investment and just another building in need of tenants to fill it.
